This enables students to develop a deeper understanding of research, theory, and relevant areas of debate with regard to TESOL and the field of educational technology. This course is available both on-site and through distance learning.

The University of Warwick runs a MA in ELT & Multimedia. This aims to prepare students for posts in educational establishments which require both technical knowledge and pedagogical understanding of the role of technology and multimedia in the teaching and learning of English.

MA in Media Assisted Language Teaching

The Open University (UK) runs an MA in Online and Distance Education. This is a three year course which is available on-line. It does nor focus specifically on language learning.
The OU also offer a wide range of computing courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Technology Enhanced Language Learning

Bell International in the UK runs a 1 week course which aims to help teachers to explore the potential uses of new technologies in language learning .

Online Education and Training

The Institute of Education at the University of London offers a course in Online Education and Training. A version of this course is available specifically for language teachers. It can be followed over ten weeks as a distance course or in a five week blended version.

The Consultants-E
